Designer Spotlight: Amrita Singh

How many times have you under-dressed to a party, dinner, or just any important event? How do you get a simple, yet elegant look?

Jewelry is a great way to accessorize. There will be times when you wear a simple shirt or dress, but when you add jewelry  to your outfit, you will never be under-dressed.

Amrita Singh is a renowned jewelry designer. She launched her first collection in January 2003. She designs jewelry that combine the modern and classical look. Her worked is inspired by culture, and art. Amrita works around the Mughal Dynasty, and other Indian designs.

Amrita graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology and she completed the two year executive training program and Bergdorf Goodman in NYC. She has also worked with Oscar De La Renta and Christian Lacroix. Her fellow designers nominated her for the Fashion Group Star Award in the Fine Jewelry Category.

She designs earrings, bracelets, rings, and bangles. The jewelry has a lot of different colors, and they are made of different stones, fabrics, and other materials. The jewelry is embellished with intricate designs, and they will always bring a little culture to an outfit.
