Inspired By…Alexa Chung
You’ll probably recognize Alexa Chung from her previous MTV Show “It’s On with Alexa Chung.” Or as the face of Lacoste’s “Joy of Pink” fragrance.
Regardless of how you know Alexa, she’s a major fashion figure in her native England and has slowly been inching her way to popularity in the United States.
When trying to dress like Alexa, think of interesting silhouettes. She really likes her Peter Pan collars and funky heels.
Here’s 3 outfits inspired by Alexa that you can adapt into your everyday wardrobe.
This first look is a casual one. Alexa really likes layering. Wear a graphic tee and a cardigan. Then a flowy skirt with black tights, and a pair of boots. Top that off with a long necklace, and you’ve got the perfect Alexa look.
For this nice dinner look, take Alexa’s love for Peter Pan collars and create a cool tuxedo-inspired look. In this particular outfit, I’ve chosen a tuxedo-inspired romper, but you can wear a nice pair of dress shorts and collared shirt instead. Pair it with some white heels and a white blazer.
This final outfit is for a night on the town. While Alexa wears a poofy tan dress here, opt for a tan peplum dress instead, to incorporate the new trend. To keep it Alexa approved, choose a funky shoe and a fun bracelet.
Alexa’s style is definitely a fun one to copy. If you like vintage-inspired clothes and funky shoes, her style is the one for you. In other news, which celebrity’s styles are you most influenced by?
