Inspired By… Adele
Adele, who only hit the scene a few years ago with her cd “19,” has become quite a legend in the music industry.
People are waiting in anticipation for her next cd. Hopefully this time, her songs will be filled with joy, since she’s engaged to Simon Konecki, whom she has a son (born October 2012) with.
But the singer, who sang and wrote the theme song for the last James Bond film, “Skyfall,” is also recognizable for her lovely fashion sense. Adele loves black and comfort. So, when trying to dress like Adele, thing black and comfort.
In this first look, Adele is spending time with her fiancé. To copy this casual look, go for a brown sweater with a fun design or pattern, black skinny jeans (or leggings), and black flats.
This second look is of Adele at the 2012 Brit Awards. Copy this lovely look for a fancy dinner. Select a lacey black dress, dangling silver earrings, and black Mary Jane heels.
In this final look, Adele is in an editorial in Vogue. She covered the March 2012 Vogue issue, being one of the first plus-sized women to do so. For a great night on the town look, copy the main ideas of the outfit. Go with a stripped black and white dress, choose a black belt to copy the corset look Adele is sporting, and go with navy blue heels to emulate the blue colors in the outfits.
I personally love Adele’s style. While I wish she’d sport other colors then black (since she looks great in them when she does), her style is so easy to copy. And I feel she’s such a great fashion icon for plus-sized girls!

Hahahaha. Adele being the first plus sized model… did you see the body-shifting done to her? The heavy shadows they added hide the work they did. Even Vogue thought she looked better when she only has 1 chin. She’s clearly a size 20 in these photos, but they made her look like a size 12, which isn’t plus, but north of that border. Being plus sized is being fat. That isn’t an insult, that’s science. Her casual look makes her look double the normal size. Don’t copy her, kids.
