Pockets

A trend that is popping up everywhere lately is pockets.  They appear bedazzled on shirts, printed on shorts, on the front of bags, and on skirts and dresses.

Pockets, traditionally for holding things are becoming more of an accent on clothing than something to serve a purpose.

Here are a few examples:

These pockets create a focal point for the eye and add some sparkle and shine to ordinary tops.

This skirt uses pockets to add extra volume on the sides.  This creates an A-line silhouette that moves away from the body, make your waist look smaller.

The pockets on this bag can be used to carry small items, but they also create a geometrical pattern.  They make the bag appear bigger and give it more shape.

These jean shorts add design to the front pockets with gems in a pattern.  They are great for adding bling to a simple outfit.
