Trend Alert: Over the Knee Boots
Fall is probably one of the best seasons when it comes to fashion. The weather is warm enough that you can still wear some of your favorite pieces from summer, but cool enough that you can start layering with your favorite cardigans and sweaters. The best part about fall is that the weather is cool enough to wear all kinds of boots without having to worry about snowy, wet weather ruining them. One of this fall’s big boot trends is the over the knee boot, a perfect style for brisk fall days.
So now you need to figure out which knee high boots compliment your style. Are you more a heel girl? Or do you usually go for the more classic riding boot kind of look. If you are having a hard time choosing here are some looks that you could try out.
We will start nice and simple with this pair of loose fitting black leather boots. These boots would be great either paired with skinny jeans, or with a dress and leggings. Simple leather boots like this are great because they can be worn well into the winter, with fewer worries about the weather.
If you want to stick with the black but get a little bit more a sexier look you could go with something more like these suede Balmain boots. Many people choose to go for the suede look in boots because it shows off a softer side, but as you can see from above suede can still be sexy.
There are some of us who cannot deal with the skinny tipped stilettos but still want some height, if so, wedge boots are the look you need. This is also a great example of the different colors of leather that out there. Some people do not like the harsh blacks, or dark browns and go for the more subdued tan leathers.
