Carolina Herrera Spring 2015: The Floral Focus

While Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2015 collection had many styles of dresses, the spotlight here is on the floral prints. Even then, the designs are varied and nothing short of charming and impressive.

One of the simplest yet most effective styles was taking a large flower or two and placing it on a white background. The template could be a dress, shirt, or skirt. The bright red is engaging – the hue dramatically alters the simple design for the apparel. Some of the placement of these flowers is rather unique. Shoulders, ankles, or only the lower limbs! With everything else in the designs simple and no other color focus, even the bright red has a simple and subtle effect!

If the above dresses were too simple, consider going all floral in dresses, skirts, and tops. The colors are consistent with the simpler ones discussed. Reds, pinks, and whites make it into the collection. The black covers the bulk of the material not designed with these flowers. The result? While the colors are bright and while the florals are seemingly EVERYWHERE, it isn’t over-bearing or too girly. They are still classic pieces to add to your collection.

The floral collection for spring 2015 also has some very subtle color choices for its pieces, focusing on pastels of beige and yellow. It looks like artwork. In other cases, the designs could be those seen on curtains and sofas. However, these designs are wearable and work for fashion, too.

The collection guarantees there is something for everyone. Again, this is only the floral designs in the collection. Check out the whole line for this spring by Carolina Herrera. While the flowers caught my eyes through the photos, the whole collection is wonderful too!
