Kenzo X H&M: Bringing the Jungle to Your Own Backyard

2

H&M has made a name for itself as one of the most popular fast-fashion retail stores and a place where a 13-year-old girl can breeze through at her local mall and buy an entire outfit with a week’s worth of allowance. However, it’s also come to be known among the fashion industry as a brand that capitalizes on the hottest trends and rubs elbows with the most esteemed designers. In the past decade, H&M have collaborated with designers like Balmain, Alexander Wang, Versace, Cavalli, and Stella McCartney, to create limited edition, straight-off-the-runway looks that sell for a pretty penny compared to their usual fare.

The chain’s latest collaboration is with the French/Japanese fashion house, Kenzo, which has always produced a heavily jungle-inspired aesthetic. Judging by the first look of the new collection, the collaboration has maintained that vibrant, jungle vibe, featuring bright greens and pinks, animal prints, and tigers, all tailored together with an edgy, modern energy. Although the prices are as of yet unconfirmed, you can get this fun and youthful look in your own local H&M come November 3rd.
