Fall Lipstick Picks

I can already smell hot baked pumpkin pie and Starbucks pumpkin spice latte – both with whipped cream of course. The sweet smell of these delights perfectly embody fall. We, Californians, are not very welcomed by fall as September and October still consist of high temperatures- enough to wear shorts- and are not familiar with the crispy orange leaves that are scattered all over the sidewalks. But this does not stop us from dressing like fall. Once October hits, we are filled with excitement for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and fall fashion: high socks, boots, scarves, and of course fall makeup. Yes, we are talking about those dark-colored lipsticks. Here are some great lipstick picks for 2016 fall; I am already FALLin’ in love with them.

NARS Scarlett Empress semi-matte

Matte lipsticks are in so don’t be surprised to see dark matte lips this fall.

Starlit Pink- A little jump from the darkness, pink is also a great color for fall. A light makeup for a casual hangout is the perfect time to bring these out.

Color Lock Long Lasting Matte Blissful- the most perfect shade of maroon.

Elf Nostalgic- Elf is placed on the cheaper spectrum for cosmetics. Their products are wonderfully affordable and lovely.

MAC relentlessly red- It may not look red but when worn, it gives a bright red color that almost appear hot pink.

NARS fast ride- sheer mulberry- If your are a digger for dark lips, I haven’t forgotten about you. This fast ride color from NARS is a flawless bold color for the fall.

Kissing Lipstick in Love Bite- First, the copper packaging is so beautiful that it’s hard for us to miss a glance at this. The bold red color is also ideal for fall with sweaters and black jackets/coats.
