Holiday Party Dress Guide

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And t’s the time of the year you’ll go to more parties than the rest of the year combine, whether its “holiday”, “Christmas” or “New Year’s”. Instead of blending in a sea of glitter and sequin, stand out in something much more classic.

Of course you can’t go wrong with a little black dress, so how about finding one that isn’t as traditional like this asymmetrical peplum one. Of course if that doesn’t work for you, a LBD is never a wrong choice.

Red and green will always be classic when it comes to Christmas, so while everyone is glittered out, try an understated red or green dress.

Play around with texture. If you don’t want to miss out on the fun of the holiday textures, try lace. Lace is amazing and classy, and if worn right, will never look frumpy.

Velvet is a trend from the 90’s that just can’t quit. It had a few years where it went dormant for a little, but now it’s back in full swing! However since the 90’s, it’s received an upgrade, and you can go for the traditional body con velvet, cut out, maxi, patterned, and, on top of that, crushed velvet!
