“Outlander” Fashion

Outlander is a wonderful TV show on Starz that featured a World War II combat nurse who is transported back in time to 18^th century Scotland, and the style on the show is breath taking. The costume designers clearly put a lot of effort into the style, and it all has magical symbolism when you look it up. Between the landscape and costumes it’s no wonder it’s one of the most visual breath taking shows on television.

While Claire is in Scotland her style takes a much more understated style, to compliment the highland culture we’re even graced with Claire in plaid.

The one time the viewer truly sees the beauty of the French court style that Claire wears in the second season, her wedding dress from the first season hails from France, and is just a glimpse into what’s coming next.

While Claire is in France, her style is much more elaborate to represent the French court she is taking part in.

Claire in 1960 Boston is no less fabulous than Claire in any other place or era. Look at this beautiful vintage style she pulls off so effortlessly.
